I am a lifelong member of the Papillion La Vista community and a proud graduate of Papillion La Vista Community Schools. I attended G. Stanley Hall, La Vista Middle School, and Papillion La Vista High School, and I am proud to now have three children attending PLCS schools. My oldest attends Papillion La Vista South High School, my second attends Papillion Middle School, and my youngest attends Ashbury Elementary.
My wife, Nicola, and I have chosen to raise our family in the same community that gave me my start. Having experienced PLCS as a student, a parent, and now as a school board member, I have a unique perspective on the important role our schools play in the lives of our students and families.
I earned a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from Creighton University. I began my career as a CPA and auditor with KPMG and RSM and now serve as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Builders Supply Co., Inc. My career in finance has given me extensive experience in budgeting, financial management, strategic planning, and responsible stewardship of resources—skills I believe are particularly valuable in serving on our school board.
My wife, Nicola, also has a background in accounting and finance, earning a B.S.B.A. in Accounting and Finance and an M.B.A. from Creighton University. Nicola is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Sarpy County, advocating for children in the juvenile court system and working to ensure children in foster care have a voice.
Our family is deeply invested in this community. From our children's schools and activities to our professional and volunteer commitments, we have built our lives here. We understand the importance of strong schools not only as parents, but as members of the community who want Papillion La Vista to remain a place where families want to live, students want to learn, and businesses want to grow.
